Good morning, y’all!

It’s been a while since I’ve done a book tag, so when I saw this quick, fun one on Anniek’s Library, I figured it would be a good one to add some variety to the recent posts!

It’s called The Guilty Reader tag, so there will be some questions about reading habits, and I hope you’ll share some of your own answers in the comments!

Have you ever re-gifted a book that you’ve been given?

I don’t think I’ve ever technically regifted any, but I’ve given some away to people who would enjoy them more.

Have you ever said you’ve read a book when you haven’t?

Only books I was supposed to read for school and told my teachers/professors that I read, whoops.

Have you ever borrowed a book and not returned it?

Yeah, and I ended up never reading it either.

Have you ever read a series out of order?

I’ve read a few series out of order before, but mostly when I was younger (high school) and was reading super long series. Most of them, I went back and reread in order so I could better understand what was happening.

Sometimes, now, I will read books later in a series if the ones that come before don’t interest me.

Have you ever spoiled a book for someone?

I don’t think so? At least, never intentionally, unless they explicitly asked me to, and I don’t recall anyone telling me I did it accidentally.

Have you ever dogeared a book?

Yep.

Have you ever told someone you don’t own a book when you do?

If I have, it’s because I forgot I had it.

Have you ever told someone you haven’t read a book when you have?

Not sure? I might’ve if I didn’t want to talk about it or to that person.

Have you ever skipped a chapter or a section of a book?

There’s some books I’ve skimmed, in order to finish them, so if that counts, then yes.

Have you ever bad mouthed a book you actually liked?

If by “bad mouthed” you mean pointed out flaws, then yes. My favorites aren’t immune to having flaws, no one’s are.
